Navy Reserves

For those who found this page while searching for CNAVRES 1100/8 I recently got feedback from a person stating they are a navy reserves recruiter

For everyone's info I am a Naval Reserve Recruiter. I like my job and I hate my job. I like seeing people join who don't have the option of Active duty. I hate it if they are not given proper training or just a waste of space. As far as this CNAVRES 1100/8; I was just about to do a "mass mailout" to over 100 prior service persons. Why - because this is what we are directed to do by our COC. I hate it! If your prior serevice you know we're here and you'd look us up if you wanted to join right?! So if you get the letter and you want us to stop the "spam snail mail" here's some help:
1. Call them and tell them not intrested
2. Call them and tell them you're intrested can you work with an Re-Code 3P (personality disorder) - we can't by the way
3. Tell them you have asthma.
Look everyone's trying to do a job that's what it boils down to. It's prettty sad I don't even know what a CNAVRES 1100/8 is. Life is full of good and bad - My husband was a MM Nuke and he love his job and got through the training but he HATED the BOAT and the "STUPID PEOPLE"
Good luck to all

Please note that below are only a few letters to one sailor, who served on one disfunctional submarine in the us fleet. The whole navy might not be this screwed up, it may just be the USS Dallas.

I just received my benefits information from the department of veterans affairs 3 and a half months after I got out of the navy reminding me of my benefits and navy efficiency. I do not know how to take this as I am wondering if this was done to remind me how shifty the navy is, if it was just a joke, or if it was one last attempt to recapture me by an organization which consumed years of my life, and my ability to dream or think clearly.

I just got spam in snail mail reminding me of overall navy efficiency requesting my presence in the navy reserves. It reads as follows:

Naval Reserve

my info

Dear (me):

If you had been training in the Naval Reserve last month, you would not have received this letter. Instead, you would have received a green check for over $200*!

A guaranteed extra monthly income is a pleasant thought with the increasingly high cost of living and the unexpected bills that pop up from time to time.

Think it over! You can enjoy some financial security with the right decision and also enjoy your association with one of the Reserve units. We would like having you along as a member.

Why not give me a call at +1 (401) 941-2550 and I will be happy to tell you about our program and answer any questions you may have. (and get a check coming your way!) Call collect if needed.

Sincerely,

Erica L. Zelcher

WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH AN EXTRA SEVENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS*?

I can't give you an envelope full of money - BUT - this question could become a reality for you if you would just take a few minutes of your time and consider the Naval Reserve as a savings and retirement plan.

With your rate and years of service for pay purposes, which will probably count towards a Naval Reserve retirmement, you could retire from the Naval Reserve with a total of twenty years. And think of this: the Naval Reserve is about the only part time job in town that pays a retirement without you paying in!

All it takes is just one weekend a month for which you are paid approximately $200.00* or more! Four days pay for two days work.

Now, if you took that money every month and invested it at a 5% return rate, you would have approximately what is indicated above.

Now I want to let you know that this number only gets bigger when you receive:

  • Pay raises
  • Advancements
  • Longevity increases
  • Cost of Living increases

If you would just take a minute of your time and give me a call at +1 (401)941-2550, I would be very pleased to discuss the benefits and advantages offer to you as a Naval Reservist. Call collect if needed.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Sincerely,

Erica L. Zelcher

The naval reserve uses commercial mailing lists in its recruiting efforts. Such lists sometimes contain errors which cannot be identified before we mail. If you should not have received this letter please accept our apologies. Perhaps you could pass this information on to someone who might be interested in Naval Reserve opportunities.

Please keep in mind this is a department of the same organization that destroyed their work records of me (my most recent navy evals were destroyed prior to my court martial) and lied about my performance in an attempt to not let me obtain a decent job. Now the navy sends me a letter wanting me because they are too lazy to check their own records, or they just do not care to, typical navy efficiency.

You think they would have figured something out with me getting out last November and these letters being dated march 3 and april 16, but they remain clueless. I view these letter as continued unwanted navy spam and do not accept a false apology that asks me to forward the letter to others. If I was mean I would use her email address and sign her up for some lists, however, I know she means no harm and is just part of a broken system (the navy). Feel free to contact her if you would like to join the navy reserves. I did pass the letter on!!!

Of course, the navy reserves letters were not enough ... she has been calling and leaving messages on my answering machine. How can the entire navy not notice that this navy reserves page lists in the top ten on almost any search engine for the term "navy reserves."

It is no accident that you found my opinion of the navy, and of the navy reserves as one of the top listing documents on the internet. Unlike other media, search engines are not weiged down by a heavy pro government patriotic propaganda system.

I hated what the navy did to my life so much that I could never imagine joining the navy reserves. I do want people to hear my story and that is why this navy reserves page lists near the top on most major search engines (though Google results are a bit harder to manipulate than some of the others).
